Bike #3...

Third in the series of the grand clearout, is this offering. A much larger frame this time (24") - I normally pass this size up, but I've got a bit of a sickness when it comes to things two-wheeled.

Still needs a clean up, and a couple of bits were past saving (pedals and brake), so I've sorted some others to finish it off right. Spec runs as folows: Raleigh frame & forks, Rigida chrome rims laced to Maillard hubs, nice old Sugino Maxi singlespeed 48T crankset, New Dicta 16T freewheel, Weinmann sidepull front brake or rear if you fancy, and some more VP pedals. Cool ITM bull barsand stem suit the bigger frame - ideal if you're 6' plus - it'd save you getting off crippled when you arrive at work! If interested email me - it's going on eBay if there are no takers...

And, as a footnote, just when I said no to buying more stuff, I saw a postcard in the window of the papershop this morning... 14 speed Peugeot. Half an hour later - I've already fallen off the wagon. Still, it'll make a sweet track bike (really quite nice), unless I decide it's too good to strip the gears off? Pics later. Much later...

Speed Week (a while back)...

My buddy Mick emigrated to Aus a few years back - he took a run out to Adelaide's Speed Week a coupla months ago - saw some cool stuff. Killer Vincent was pretty fast - there's a write on on his website if you feel interested - hit the link over on the right: www.vdubber.com - nuff good stuff...

Single #2...

Here's the second one - the pile of garage bits isn't geting any smaller - I've called it Allan. This one came out pretty good too - IMHO, the metallic brown is totally killer - it needs to be seen to be appreciated. Sweet ITM bars cut down within an inch of their life, super skinny Mavics - this baby weighs nothing! Runs sweet too. I rode it to a mate's shop but he was closed! I just about made it back - I seriously need more exercise. On eBay now - drop it like it's hot...

Singlespeed Project...

I built this single speed out of stuff I've bought but shouldn't have (damn you eBay!). The first of several - sold it last week to try and claw some cash back - the Triumph won't build itself - plus I can use up a garage full of bike stuff! It came out pretty sweet, even though I do say so myself - Killa old Reynolds frame, skinny touring bars to split lanes in London traffic - I even rode it around the block!

Chop project...

My 650 ironhead Trump - I've been at this on-off for a year or more. Things keep getting in the way - rank laziness being one of them. Gonna be killer when it's finished, forwards, high pipes, big tall sissy bar from Fenland choppers. Anyone got a 19" front wheel off a single disk dyna? Having one might stir me back into action...

Nomorea 24"...

My buddy Tony Mac built this a few years back - then never rode it. Nomorea 24" courtesy of Bill Ryan at Supercross - a nod to the old school Nomura ridden by Wade way back when...

My first post...

Well, here goes, my first post - of little or no interest to the rest of the world, I'm in the process of uploading some bike pix, but for now, here's my home from home. Rom. IMHO, the greatest vintage cement inside the M25 (sorry Harrow). Overview pic is by me on my lonesome, after John Greenwood went home, classic pool shot is courtesy of Jelly (sorry for the theft man - thanks Matt). Respect tha pool. I have the ankle to prove it...
